Social Value Strategy Development & Implementation

BayNel were appointed by a national, family-owned construction company to support them in the development and implementation of a Social Value strategy, to enable the business to deliver quantifiable social value and meet the demands of its customer base i.e., public sector framework. As part of the work undertaken BayNel:

  • Completed a Gap analysis and benchmark review of their current activity and approach to Social Value vs that of its competitors ​

  • Developed of Social Value frameworks including the development of long-term objectives targets and KPIs​

  • Developed a project impact report template, including reporting framework


The Social Value Framework developed allow the business to set long term objectives and targets for Social Value through the delivery of its projects. The framework meant that the client wasn't having to develop new strategies and approaches each time it responded to a client tender, but also allowed them to consistently measure and report on the value they create through their projects.
