BayNel were appointed to support a leading UK building, infrastructure, engineering and fit out company who deliver projects across a range of sectors including education, water, health, defence and justice. Our client has a well established ESG strategy in place, with Social Value forming a key component of this strategy.

The Challenge:

In February 2025 the UK Government updated the PPN 002 Taking account of social value in the award of contracts - along with its accompanying Social Value model, in response to the Procurement Act 2023.

Our clients delivers a significant volume of public sector construction projects , and must regularly respond to Social Value criteria during the tender process. They sought to review and strengthen their approach to ensure alignment with the updated model, enhance bid competitiveness and drive meaningful impact across project delivery.
